A fourth generation family joinery business that values traditional craft skills
D Garland & Son was established in 1900 and came about with David Garland working on the Church Hall in Elie, Fife. The company he was working for went into liquidation and David was asked if he could take control and finish the work off. He then became self employed and went on to form a successful business and when his son joined him it became D Garland & Son.
We are now in our 4th generation of Garland although the name changed to Garland (Elie) Limited on 1st January 2009.
Throughout the many years we have always kept our base in Elie, Fife. We continue to use traditional joinery methods passed down through the generations but have also embraced new technology and new products which have enabled us to produce such fine work as shown in our projects.
We are a small company which regularly punches above our weight in the market place.
We cover all aspects of joiner work from jobbing through to demolition and new construction of properties.
